IMT Community Contest

The IMT Insurance Community Contest awards town projects & organizations in need of funding. Whether your submissions reflect beautification, restoration and improvement initiatives, mentorship programs, first responders, or local non-profit organizations, the needs of your neighborhoods are important to us.

This year, IMT celebrates 28 years of supporting communities throughout Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wisconsin with donations of either $500 or $1,000.

IMT uses Submittable, an external web-based tool, for all applications. This online platform helps IMT make the Community Contest process more streamlined and transparent and allows for quicker award decision and delivery.

How to apply:

1.    Create an account. Applicants will need to create a Submittable account or use account login information from a previous year submission. All that is needed is an email and password, it's that simple. For technical FAQs, visit the Submittable help center. Supported internet browsers include Google Chrome, Apple Safari, & Mozilla Firefox.

2.    Complete IMT Community Contest application.

a. Applicants may complete the application in phases and finish at their own pace.

b. Photos and supporting documents must be uploaded through Submittable.

c. Applicants may check status of their applications at any time by logging into their Submittable account.

3.    Anxiously await 2025 Community Contest decision! Entries must be submitted by April 27, 2025. Recipients will be selected on or before May 5, 2025.
